Summer Fiber Camp at Warm & Wooly!
Warm and Wooly invites your child to join us for a week of fun, creativity, and fiber crafts!
Week 1: July 7th–11th
AM: Needle Felting
Discover the magic of needle felting! Kids will create adorable animals, colorful shapes, and imaginative designs using soft wool and felting tools. Projects include a felted tote bag, coasters, and 3D animals.
PM: Crochet 101
Perfect for beginners, this session focuses on simple stitches and flat projects like scarves and coasters. Kids who already know the basics will learn advanced stitches and techniques to enhance their skills.
Week 2: July 14th–18th
AM: Weaving
Kids will create two unique projects: a colorful tapestry on a frame loom and a cozy scarf on a rigid heddle loom. They'll explore weaving basics, patterns, and textures while crafting beautiful handmade pieces.
PM: Crochet 201
For those ready to advance their crochet skills, this session focuses on crocheting in the round with projects like granny squares, amigurumi, and a basket.
Week 3: July 21st–25th
AM: Fabulous Fiber
Try a little bit of everything! This week features beginner-friendly projects like punch needle, yarn dyeing, pom poms, and friendship bracelets—a perfect introduction to various fiber arts.
PM: Hand Sewing
Explore hand sewing through embroidery, felt stuffies, and cross stitch. Kids will develop fine motor skills, express their creativity, and take home handmade treasures.
FAQs
How old do campers need to be?
Campers should be ages 7–14. Younger children may be approved on a case-by-case basis.
How many kids can participate?
Registration is limited to 8 students per session.
What supplies do they need?
All project supplies are included! Just bring enthusiasm and creativity.
What are the drop-off/pick-up times?
- Drop-off: No earlier than 15 minutes before class starts.
- Pick-up: Within 15 minutes after class ends.
- Full-day drop-off: 8:45 AM
- Full-day pick-up: 3:15 PM
Is lunch provided for full-day participants?
No. Full-day campers should bring a refillable water bottle and a packed lunch.
How much does camp cost?
- AM or PM only: $250 per week
- Full day: $500 per week
Is there a sibling discount?
Yes! Enjoy a 10% discount for the second registration.
Registration & Refund Policy
- Full payment is required upon registration.
- Seats are limited; no refunds will be issued.
- Warm & Wooly reserves the right to cancel or substitute camps with fewer than 25% attendance. Refunds will be provided for canceled camps.
Additional Information
- Parents/guardians must sign a waiver for photo use and emergency medical authorization during registration.
- Campers must be symptom- and fever-free for 24 hours before attending.
