What's New

Introducing the latest additions at Warm and Wooly:

Handmade by Henna Stitch Markers

Made by one of our shop regulars, we've got adorable new stitch markers in stock! There are individuals as well as cute themed sets. They are all handmade and the prices are unbeatable. These are available in store only!

Cascade Cherub Aran and Cherub DK

Our last Cascade restock included several NEW colors of Cherub DK and Cherub Aran, as well as restocks of neutral favorites we've had in store before. The Cherub line is a Nylon/Acrylic blend which means it's budget friendly and machine washable! It's also SO SOFT. 

Dr. Seuss Yarn Bowls & Mushrooms

Martin from Past Times Farm was in again this week with new yarn bowls! The newest bowls are a variety of rainbow colors, obviously felled from a Truffula forest. We also have mushrooms!! The mushrooms do not serve a practical purpose (many have asked) but they make adorable home decor.

Dyed bowls: Martin has assured us that the rainbow bowls will not fade overtime nor will the color rub off on your yarn. Use them in the same way you'd use his other wood yarn bowls.

Crochet 101 for Kids

Thursday nights from 5pm-6pm

We are switching gears with our kids beginner crochet classes. To accommodate a variety of skill levels, you are now able to sign up for kid's classes one week at a time. For brand new crocheter's, we recommend signing up for 3 classes in a row and then taking classes as needed. 

Tunisian 101: Mug Rug

Tuesday, April 16th OR Tuesday, May 21st

6pm-8pm

(1 Session)

If you're brand new to Tunisian crochet, this class is for you! Learn the basics of Tunisian while making an adorable mug rug.

Knitting 101, 102 & 103

Learn how to knit! This is a three week class series, however, each class can be registered for individually. Please read the description for each week to decide what skills you'd like to learn!

Spinning 101

Learn to spin with Lisa Lynn! We have one student wheel available for this class, or bring your own! You will learn all the basics needed to spin your own yarn.

Crochet 101: Washcloth

Tuesday, April 23rd OR Wednesday, April 24th

6pm-8pm

(1 Session)

This class is for the brand new crocheter or those looking to dust off old skills. Learn how to crochet a chain and single crochet stitch to make a simple washcloth. Our Wednesday evening class is full so we have added a Tuesday evening class!

Natural Dye Workshop

Wednesday, May 1st

6pm-8pm

(1 Session)

Learn the basic principles of natural dyeing with dried marigold flowers, including yarn preparation, dye extraction, and immersion dyeing.

Knitting Clinic for April will be on EVERY Tuesday evening from 6pm-8pm. Saturday clinics will be by appointment only. If you need help with a knitting project outside of a clinic time, please contact the shop so we can get something scheduled!

Current and Finished Projects 

Deb finished off this beautiful knit hat with Big Merino Wool in the color "Lilac". It's so cozy!

I always have a million projects in the works, but I spent my weekend focusing on a Tunisian crochet sweater and a crocheted pair of socks. The sweater is a pattern test for @tinycouchcrochet and I'm using two colors of Woolpaka. The socks are the "Jaywalk Socks" we are making in our crochet sock class. I'm using a skein of Bad Sheep in Incandescently Happy for the main color and a mini from Cashmere and Coconuts for my contrast color. 

Amy is showing off a top knit by Cheryl. Cheryl used the "Lea Tee" pattern and four balls of United in the color "beetroot". This is going to be such a great summer top!
