Warm & Wooly Fall Retreat

Registration is open for our fall retreat and we are SO PUMPED! We have a new website page for the retreat that also includes our retreat itinerary. 

Quick Details:

Who: 17 more fiber enthusiasts! (if you are coming with a friend, please make sure to select the same room when you're checking out)

What: All inclusive retreat with 3 nights of lodging, 8 meals, private mansion tour, massages, ice cream social, sip and stitch night, and swag bags with over $100 of fabulous goodies. 

When: Sunday, September 15th (4pm) - Wednesday, September 18th (10am)

Where: Linden Hill Historic Estate in Little Falls, MN

Cost: Rooms remaining range from $705-$735 per person

Worldwide *Knit in Public Day

June 8th from 10am-4pm

*I didn't name the holiday, we all know I'll be crocheting on Saturday. If you love fiber crafts, this day is for you! Grab your project and a camping chair and join us to knit/crochet/weave/spin/etc in public!

New Shop Sample - "Anker's Summer Shirt"

Y'all I cannot get enough of the summer sweaters!! If you haven't made one yet, this is your sign. Do it. 

Evette just finished the Anker's Summer Shirt by PetiteKnits (read all of her notes HERE). The shop sample was made with 3 skeins of Pandamonium in the color "19 Aquamarine". Pandamonium is a DK weight, cotton/bamboo blend that is cool to the touch and perfect for lightweight summer garments. Available in 32 colors!!

What's New

We have had so many packages arrive at the shop this week, we will be going live on Facebook Thursday (June 6) at 4pm to show off our new goodies and answer any questions!

My favorite new additions this week:

Cocoknit's Maker's Board 
I am a paper pattern girlie. When I'm downloading patterns on Ravelry, I will ALWAYS be printing a physical copy. The problem is trying to see where I'm at when the pattern is laying on the table or having to sit my stitches down to pick it up again. The Maker's Board is one of my favorite Cocoknits products. I can hold my pattern in place, attach my Cocoknits row counter (my favorite because it locks and my kids can't change my row count), and all of my other tools! We are freshly stocked with so many Cocoknits tools in all the colors! 

Della Q Maker's Buddy Case
Do you feel like you have endless tapestry needles and stitch markers but you can never find them when you need it? I am often crocheting on the go and need to have my tools easily accessible in my project bag. The Maker's Buddy Case is the perfect solution! Cotton Ball
Last week we introduced Zauberball Cotton to the shop. As soon as this yarn arrived, I started looking at patterns. I was very excited about doing a colorwork project with this stripy magical yarn, but wanted a solid to pair it with. Enter in: Cotton Ball. Cotton Ball is a semi-solid version of Zauberball Cotton. Same great yardage and long staple Greek cotton and available in 8 colors! Pair the two yarns for a fun colorwork project and use the Cotton Ball on it's own for a lightweight summer project.

Learn how to crochet in this beginner level class! All materials are provided. We will be learning the basic stitches, so no previous experience is necessary.

Cascade Special Events

Saturday, June 22nd

Shannon, the owner of Cascade Yarns, will be coming to host a yarn tasting and a color theory class! Sign up for one or both and join us for a fun day of playing with yarn.

These classes will include special giveaways from Cascade!! These classes are only $10 each and you will receive a $10 store credit to spend on the day of the class!

Tunisian 201: Charming Trio

Thursday, June 27th

6pm-8pm

(1 Session)

Build on your Tunisian crochet skills with the charming trio! The pattern includes instructions to make an oversized towel, a matching washcloth, and a double thick potholder. Choose one of the three to work on during class! All three patterns will teach the Tunisian crochet brick stitch.

Acid Dye Workshop

Learn the basic principles of dyeing your own yarn! You will be able to dye your own yarn to bring home at the end of class. This class is limited to 4 students, so be sure to sign up quickly!

Crochet 201: Granny Square Chicken

If you've never made a granny square, this is a fun way to learn! In this two part class you will learn how to make a floral granny square, how to seam your squares together, and how to crochet the additional pieces to make your chicken. 

Can't make it to class? We will have kits available this weekend for these adorable chickens!

Spring KAL & CAL 

Our first Knit-along/Crochet-along finished on June 1st and we had 11 finishers!! Yesterday we went live on Instagram to announce our prize winners. Congratulations to Taylor, Lindsey and Kaylen!!
