March Madness, But Make it Yarn

Trunk Shows

Our newest trunk show arrived in the shop and it is FABULOUS! We have a collection of garments featuring Blue Sky Fibers Techno and Woolstok Tweed. Garment trunk shows are a great opportunity to see what the yarn looks and feels like after being knit/crocheted. Samples are available to try on as well! 

We have sweater quantities of every color of Woolstok Tweed available in the shop as well as sweater quantities of 7 beautiful Techno colors. 

Arriving next Tuesday we will have a yarn trunk show from Álainn Yarns! Álainn Yarns creates hand-dyed yarns inspired by travel. She will be sending yarn in fingering and DK weight. Álainn Yarns will be available for purchase in-store only from March 19th-23rd.

Coastal Cotton Ocean Mist

We've been sold out of all colors of Ocean Mist for quite some time. The wait is over and four new colors have hit the shelves! 

Denise Interchangeable Sets and Cords

As we have been increasing our Tunisian crochet classes, we're expanding the Tunisian collection in store! We have restocked full interchangeable sets and are now carrying individual cords and cord sets (long and short cord sets available). 

ChiaoGoo Accessories

We are constantly hearing about how much our customers love ChiaoGoo knitting needles! We have been slowly adding to the ChiaoGoo collection at the shop and now have even more accessories. The following accessories are available individually and in kits in all sizes: end stoppers, cable connectors, adapters and keys. We now have 2in cables in all sizes to turn your ChiaoGoo needles into flexible DPNs!

Crochet 301: Block of the Month

Join us for block #3 of our crochet block of the month class! This month we will be learning mosaic crochet. You are welcome to join the class even if you missed the first two blocks. 

Mosaic crochet is a color-work technique. You only use one color per row so you don't have to switch colors every few stitches! Please note you will need two colors of yarn for this class.

Crochet 201: Jaywalk Socks

So you want to make socks but don't know how to knit? No problem! Over 4 1.5hr sessions we will be going over all the skills to CROCHET a pair of socks!

We are working on getting the next Knitting 101 class on the schedule! In the meantime, join us for Knitting Clinic. Knitting Clinic is a drop-in time to get help with any knitting project. We are currently alternating between Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, please check the website for upcoming dates and times.

Current and Finished Projects 

Julia is almost done with this gorgeous baby blanket. Crocheted with 5 balls of Cherub Aran Prints. This yarn is my #1 recommendation for any baby projects. Super soft and WASHABLE! 

Hannah has been cranking out amigurumi projects! She finished these two chicks for our last amigurumi class and was the maker behind the apple and worm we shared on Instagram. She used Happy Cotton for both. 

Kaylen finished her FIRST color-work sweater: "Halibut" by Caitlin Hunter. Knit with Patagonia Organic Merino. I am inspired to start my first color-work sweater!

Sometimes I share my current WIPs in the newsletter and have been asked a few times how many projects I have going at the same time. Last Friday I pulled them all out and have 8! I shared all 8 on TikTok and will be posting another update this Friday. Taking guesses for the over/under 😅
