Our Sign is Up!!

After almost 6 months of being open we finally have our sign! Starting a new small business is tough, and things like this take time, but I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has supported us so far. 

Thank you for shopping in store and online. Thank you for following us on social media and interacting with our posts. Thank you for spreading the word to your friends and family! We truly could not be here without you. I love the Warm & Wooly community!

What is a CAL/KAL?

A Crochet-Along (CAL) or Knit-Along (KAL) is when a group of fiber artists work on the same project at the same time while learning from and supporting each other.

What are the dates?

The starting date or "cast-on" day is April 2nd. The CAL/KAL ends on June 1st. You have until midnight (CT) to complete your FO form. 

How do I join?

Fill out the form in the newsletter to let us know you're participating. Once you are signed up, we will send you an email with more details! You will receive a link to join our Facebook group and Ravelry group to share your work with others along the way. When you complete your project, there will be a form to fill out to be eligible to win prizes!

What yarns can I use?

To be eligible for prizes, your project should mostly be made with W&W yarns (around 80% or more).

What are the prizes?

1st Prize: $75 Warm & Wooly Giftcard

2nd Prize: 3 Month Subscription for Baah Color of the Month Club (receive one skein each month in base of choice)

3rd Prize: Free Class(es) at Warm & Wooly up to $100 Value

All prizes will be randomly selected from CAL/KAL finishers!

How do I enter to win a prize?

Winners will be randomly selected from all participants who complete the FO Form. The form will be sent our via email to those who sign up for the CAL/KAL.

We believe cute notions make fiber crafting so much more enjoyable. Hitting the shelves today is an assortment of animal tape measures (ducks, snails, chickens and turtles), a restock of our adorable elephant multipurpose tools and allllll the highlighter tape colors! 

Hawthorn Handmade Crafting Kits

Explore other fiber crafts with our new kits from Hawthorn Handmade! We have a variety of needle felting, embroidery and cross stitch kits. 

4oz Roving Braids from Evergreen Oasis Farm

We have heard your requests and now have 4oz braids of roving from Evergreen Oasis! These are available in store only so be sure to stop by to see the beautiful new colors. We do still have a few 2oz braids that are perfect for needle felting and other crafting projects.

So you want to make socks but don't know how to knit? No problem! Over 4 1.5hr sessions we will be going over all the skills to CROCHET a pair of socks!

Crochet 201: Amigurumi

Tuesday, April 2nd & 9th

6pm-8pm

(2 Sessions)

Take your crochet skills to the next level with amigurumi! Choose between an apple or a chick to learn how to crochet in the round and do basic increases and decreases. 

Crochet 101 for Kids

Thursday nights from 5pm-6pm, starting April 4th

We are switching gears with our kids beginner crochet classes. To accommodate a variety of skill levels, you are now able to sign up for kid's classes one week at a time. For brand new crocheter's, we recommend signing up for 3 classes in a row and then taking classes as needed. 

Tunisian 201: The Sampler Pillow

Thursday, April 4th, 11th and 19th

6pm-8pm

(3 Sessions)

Whether you're new to Tunisian crochet or you've learned a few stitches, there's something new for you to learn in this class!

Knitting 101 will be hitting the website this weekend so be on the lookout! Also coming soon: a natural yarn dyeing class!

Current and Finished Projects 

Robyn finished a beautiful baby blanket using Sirdar No. 1 in the color "Fog". This nylon/acrylic blend is perfect for washable baby items!

Cheryl knit this hat holding together a strand of Casacade Heritage in the color "Latte" and Baah Yarns Halo in the color "Dare to Bare". It's so soft and warm!!

Lochlan has finished not one, but TWO "The Bright Side" Shawls!! Made with two different colors in the assigned pooling collection from Baah Yarns. She also just finished a pair of socks using WYS Signature 4ply in the color peacock. Way to go!
